MCUViewer - Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MCUViewer website, licensing process, and payment methods. By purchasing, downloading, or using any version of MCUViewer ("Software"), you agree to these Terms.
1. Software and Licensing
The Software is licensed, not sold. All software usage is subject to the terms of the End-User License Agreement (EULA), which must be accepted upon installation.
Available license tiers:
- Free - for personal, educational, or evaluation purposes.
- Enterprise - for professional, commercial, or organizational deployments.
Details of usage rights are specified in the EULA.
2. Ordering and Payment
Licenses are purchased directly from the developer, usually via email or direct contact. Once terms are agreed, payment is processed via a secure third-party service (e.g. Stripe).
Upon confirmation of payment, a license file will be issued to the email address provided. This file is personal and non-transferable, and governed by the EULA.
3. Delivery
License files and installation instructions are delivered digitally, typically within 1–2 business days after payment. No physical goods are shipped.
4. Refunds and Cancellations
Due to the digital nature of the product, all sales are final. Refunds may only be issued under exceptional circumstances and at the sole discretion of the Licensor.
Please evaluate the Free Version or request an evaluation license before purchasing. The Software does not guarantee compatibility with all microcontroller targets, toolchains, or debugging hardware. It is the user's responsibility to verify that the Software meets their specific requirements prior to purchase.
5. Updates and Support
The Licensor may release updates, bug fixes, or enhancements at their discretion. Access to updates may vary based on your license type.
Support is provided via email and is offered in good faith, without guaranteed response times, unless otherwise agreed.
6. Features and Access
The availability of specific features in the Software depends on the license tier (Free, Standard, Enterprise). A detailed breakdown of the functionality included in each license plan is published on our website. The Licensor reserves the right to modify, add, or remove features from any plan at its sole discretion. In such cases, existing licensees will be informed in advance if the changes significantly affect their current access.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the Software, licensing system, or website. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Attempting to circumvent license checks or security mechanisms.
- Sharing license files outside the scope of your license.
- Misrepresenting your organization size or intended use.
8. Analytics and Privacy
The Software may collect and transmit strictly anonymous usage statistics to the Licensor’s servers.
Such data is used solely for the purposes of improving performance, stability, and functionality of the Software.
No personal data is collected, stored, or transmitted, and the information cannot be used to identify individual users.
Data processing is carried out in compliance with applicable privacy regulations, including the GDPR.

9. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Software remain the sole property of Piotr Wasilewski, unless otherwise stated. You are granted no ownership or title through the use of the Software.
10. Limitation of Liability
Your use of the Software is at your own risk. The Licensor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, as outlined in the EULA.
11. Modifications to Terms
The Licensor reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted at https://download.mcuviewer.com/docs/website/TermsAndConditions.txt. Continued use of the Software after changes implies acceptance of the revised Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
